1980   Established links with the C.S.I.R.O. & Materials Research Laboratories for joint developments in Materials engineering
1985   Successful completion of coating development and application to the Royal Australian Navy Minehunter Catamaran concept
1986   Aquired by Muswellbrook Energy and Minerals Ltd
1990   Part of the N.I.E.S. promotion of opportunities in Advance Materials
1991   Management buy-out to form Brenco Thermal Coating Pty Ltd
1992   Formal approval by General Electric Aircraft Engines (GE) to apply plasma coatings for Power Plant Turbines in the Royal Australian Navy Frigate program
1993   Certification from the Indonesian and Singaporean Aviation Authorities to apply Thermal Coatings and subsequently machining and grinding to jet aircraft engine components
1993   Commence program for the certification to ISO 9000 series Quality Standards
1994   Incorporation of Brenco Aerospace Pty Ltd as a separate division
1995   Certification to ISO 9002 Quality Standards (Licence Number #2786)
1995   Commencement of construction of state of the art Manufacturing and Processing complex at Sunshine, Victoria
1999   Establishment of Manufacturing and Processing Facility at Kewdale, Western Australia
2004   Development of the Brencoat® coating technology
2005   Australian Provisional Patent for Brencoat® coating technology
