Brenco
Surface Engineering is a privately owned
company committed to engineering excellence
and to the satisfaction of a growing
customer base in the Australasian
and South East Asian region.
Established and incorporated
as a stand alone division of the Brenco
group of companies in June 1994, the
history dates back to 1946 where Brenco's
inception began primarily as a tool
making company. The specialised tooling
developed for General Motors Holden,
and later for the Ford Motor Company,
assisted with the development and
manufacture of automobiles in Australia.
In 1965 a strategic
policy direction resulted in the development
of surface engineering and coatings
due to the introduction of higher
technology processing systems into
Australia. Operations commenced with
the commissioning of the first Plasma
Coating system to the region and many
tens of thousands of engineering components
have subsequently been processed.
Expanding with processing industry
from these pioneering times the technology
now includes
- 5 Plasma Coating Systems
- 3 Twin Wire Electric Arc
Systems
- 2 Low Velocity Oxy Fuel
Systems
- Stress Relieving and Air
Recirculation Furnaces
- 6 Axis Thermal Coating Robot
This range of technology now
permits the practice of:
- Thermal Coating
- Precision Plasma Transferred
Arc Welding
- Stress Relieving
- Fluorescent Penetrate Inspection
and can be considered to encompass
a "One Stop Shop Concept".
