Aluminium Smelting
Brencoat ® BR-3, 4, 5 and 6 Non-Wetting Carbides and ceramics applied to resist Motlen Aluminum and Aluminum dross with resistance to corrosion and erosion. The Brenco Group have developed coatings to resist wetting of molten aluminum and molten iron used in the smelting process, with properties including thermal shock resistance, molten metal nonwetting, dross buildup, and erosion and the erosive effects of molten metals.
